Sylvester Dengzee MSc BSc(Hons) MHCPC MCSP AACP

After qualifying with his BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy at the University of Ghana (2010), Sylvester moved to the UK to settle and marry his wife- who he met whilst both on physiotherapy student placement at a regional hospital in Ghana.  Sylvester went on to complete his MSc Physiotherapy here at Anglia Ruskin University (2013) gaining a ‘Distinction’ as well as recognition with the Dean’s Award for high academic excellence. He invested his passion into research projects and has had papers published in peer reviewed journals.

Sylvester has several years NHS experience in pulmonary rehabilitation and musculoskeletal (MSK) care whilst also working as first team physio for Woodbridge Rugby Club for several seasons too. He went on to be a Senior Physiotherapist in West Suffolk’s Hospice, before more recently moving into NHS community therapy and lately settling in MSK private practice.  Sylvester is also qualified to practice acupuncture and since 2015 has continually used acupuncture and gained experience in both musculoskeletal and palliative care settings. He is a registered member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
